Careers at The Woods
Join our team.
Since opening to our first guests in 2004, The Woods has become America's premier LGBTQIA+ camping resort. We're often complimented on our team — because they bring as much passion as our guests do.
An Equal Opportunity Workplace
We don't just accept difference — we celebrate it.
We support it and thrive on it, for the benefit of our employees, our services, and our community. The Woods is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. Even though we target the LGBT community, nobody — including our team members — is required to identify as such.
Job requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Weekends are a must — that's when most of our guests visit
- An enthusiastic personality and a desire to create a great customer experience
- Enjoy working in a hospitality setting with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Natural attention to detail and the stamina to work long shifts
Training is provided, but some experience is preferred for all positions. English/Spanish bilingual speakers are a plus.
WorKampers & the Staff Compound
WorKamping is when you exchange all or part of your camping fees for time spent working at the resort. Whether you're a Perm looking to cut down seasonal fees or someone seeking a great adult atmosphere for the summer, The Woods is a great choice. Couples are encouraged to apply.
The Staff Compound is our nickname for the camping area where team members stay between shifts — either a campsite for your own RV or a small cabin provided by The Woods, with fees worked off in exchange for hours.
