Since opening to its first guests in the summer of 2004, The Woods has become America's premier LGBTQIA+ camping resort — a favorite for guests from across the world.
Real, Not Synthetic
In a world of filters and apps, we offer something rare.
The new standard of social interaction is online — filtered photos, exaggerated profiles, disappointing meetups. And now the world is flooded with synthetic, AI-generated everything.
Something The Woods can offer that an algorithm never will: real experiences. Real people, real nature, and real moments. Our facilities have been continuously upgraded since 2004, and we're often complimented on a team with as much passion as our guests.

18+ only, clothing-optional, and proudly LGBTQIA+. Half singles, half couples, all vibes — friends, lovers, and solo campers. Everyone's welcome.

Bonfires where people actually talk. Pool parties, DJs, yoga, hikes, group activities. You meet people in person — not through filters and three-year-old pics.

It's not about sex — it's about body confidence and feeling free in your own skin. All bodies, all shapes, all genders. No perfection required, no judgment allowed.

Heated pool, hot tubs, a four-acre lake with paddle boats, 3+ miles of trails, a cutting-edge dance club, fitness, yoga, volleyball, and the BodyShop spa.

The Social Center The Clubhouse
Where everyone meets up.
Over 6,200 square feet of covered space — so a hot sun or a rainy forecast never slows the fun.
Upstairs: Guest Services, an ATM, and a full-service store. Downstairs: modern restrooms and showers, The Woods Café, and the dance club. The patio, lanai, and pool buzz all day, the hot tubs bubble start to finish, and the bonfire area glows just off poolside — where the flames seem to touch the stars.

A four-acre lake and miles to wander.
Paddle the lake, follow trails that wrap the water and disappear into the forest, or gather your group in our covered pavilion in the resort's newest recreational area.
